We're the residential division of DaVinci Mechanical, a union shop — real apprenticeship training, real standards, and commercial-grade craftsmanship applied to homes across Orange County.
Reach out directly to let us know your background and what role you're interested in — we'll follow up about current openings.
Curious what "union shop" actually means day to day? See our Union HVAC Contractor page.
We're a union shop, and that sentence does real work: journeyman-certified training standards, apprenticeship pathways that build a career rather than burn a body, and wages negotiated rather than whispered. The service model changes the job too — our technicians earn no commission on findings, which means you diagnose with evidence instead of selling with fear, and you go home respected by the people whose houses you entered. We're building Orange County's most trusted residential service brand on top of DaVinci Mechanical's commercial standards, and we hire for that: techs who photograph their findings, apprentices who want a trade done right, and people allergic to the coupon-tune-up industry's way of working. If that's you, we want the conversation — experienced or ready to learn.
Current openings move with the season, but the standing profile doesn't: experienced residential service technicians who can diagnose with instruments and explain with patience — EPA certification required, journeyman card or the drive to earn one strongly preferred; apprentices with the aptitude and attitude for a real trade education, union pathway included; and installers who treat a load calculation as the start of a job rather than paperwork. The deal in plain terms: union wages and benefits, no commission games pressuring you to invent findings, trucks and tools maintained like we mean it, and a growing four-county service area that keeps the work varied — vintage Long Beach retrofits one day, Eastvale replacements the next. Send a note through the contact page with your experience and certifications; Tom reads them himself.
